Camtech was established in 1983 by several engineers, who at that time worked at Canon (Borsumij Foto).  The first location was the upper floor of a syrup factory in Alphen a / d Rijn.
This location was exchanged for a real office in the former town of Aarlanderveen about one year later.
At that time the customers mainly existed of a number of photo shops in the area and the old employer Canon.
Again a few years later we moved from downtown Alphen to a business-area near Avifauna , also in Alphen.

    Minolta was added to the line of customers.   This situation stayed the same until the move to Boskoop, our current location. This is the first building we own. Until this time we were with four owners, two technicians and one lady.
 
   Since 1997 we slowly grew to the current situation. Still four owners, but now ten technicians and four ladies in administration.  Early april 2009 we switched to complete, self-developed, administration-software.  This web-based system, called C.S.I. (camtech service information) takes care of the complete repair and logistics within the local network.

   Our business evolved form a general repair-shop for retailers to a more brand orientated kind.
A number of brands asked us to take care of their complete aftersale-service.

   Besides repairing photo and video-equipment we also started to handle the watch-service for Casio as well as the dataprojectors

   End of 2010 we moved to our new locIn the near future (summer 2010) another move is planned. This time to the International Trade Center (I.T.C.) near Boskoop. On our news page you will find an impression of the new building.
